Chameleon Theatre Company is presenting a new play entitled "The Dream Catcher" which opens at Reps' Theatre Upstairs on 2 June 1998. Performances will start at 7.30pm. "THE DREAM CATCHER" has been extended due to popular demand for another 3 Days: on the 18, 19 and 20 June. Last chance to see a great show, before it moves on to the Edinburgh Festival!!! "The Dream Catcher" explores the power of magic, music and myth. By combining the three elements of performance, namely drama, dance and song, the relevance of these themes in the modern world is examined, and the result is an enchantingly dark comedy. It is written by Dominique Baron-Bonarjee and assisted by Gavin Colborne of Chameleon Theatre and other members of the cast. For this production Gavin and Dominique of Chameleon Theatre, will be joining forces with Wiina Msamati of Over the Edge who was recently seen in "The Rocky Horror Show", Brendan Pollard, Chiwoniso Maraire a talented musician and singer who has been performing with Andy Brown for the past few years. Hetan Bhagat, a local fashion-designer, venerated in some circles for his avant-garde styles, will be providing imaginative costume designs and Anna Morris is doing the dance choreography.

After the Zimbabwean run, "The Dream Catcher" will be doing a run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the biggest and best theatre festival in the world, check it out for yourself, it's only a 15hour plane-trip away!
